Last weekend, I listened to a radio show on WNYC while I cleaned out my boys' closet. Between sorting onesies and wool sweaters, and trying to match tiny shoes and old socks, I heard Kurt Vonnegut's 1998 recorded interviews with "the dead, or almost dead".
