Happy Friday

Letter pressed business cards designed by my in-house designer, Mr. Keenan Cummings.

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm happy to be home. Our flight was perfection from the sweet girl sitting next to us, to my son sleeping almost the entire way. It was a miracle. We're getting organized, doing laundry, and catching up with friends. It was windy and cold yesterday but we braved it and went out to check-in on all our favorite places in the neighborhood—the playground, the corner store, and the library. It feels good to be back. I love this city so much. It's in my bones and though it's awful and exhausting and expensive at moments, it's just as beautiful and magnetic. Do you feel that way about where you live? It's taken me a long time to embrace living in New York City but once I did, it was a downward spiral. :)

I want my Alt post to be thoughtful and exact so I'm spending my time composing a recap. Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, enjoy this pony in a kitchen. And have a wonderful weekend. (Man, I love the weekend. But I do miss TGIF Fridays. Boy Meets World anyone?)

Since I was at Alt last week, here's my Design Mom posts from the past two weeks.
